Develop Your Visual Sitemap on LōD #
1. Create a Sitemap #
In this guide, we’ll look at how to create a sitemap. Start by clicking on Site Map on the left panel.

2. Sitemap Hierarchy #
The sitemap consists of groups, which is your Container level, or building level. Click on “Add Group” to add a container.

3. Group Name and Location #
Enter a name for your Group, in this example, we used an Air-Cooled Container. Next, we’ll enter the coordinates of the group.

4. Create a Group #
In this demo, we enter the location of our container as Rows 3 and Columns 3. First Row, First Column is the top left-hand side of the site.

5. We created our first group. #
Once you hit submit, you can see your new container added to the 3rd row and 3rd column. By hovering over it, you get some key details about your group, such as the number of devices connected and disconnected, average hashrate, inlet and outlet temperatures, fan speed, and minimum and maximum PCB and Chip temperatures. Also, you can see the number of issues identified in this group.

6. Add Rack Button #
Next, we will add our first rack by clicking on “Add Rack”

7. Name and Location #
Enter a name and location for your rack. In this demo, we are using the Rack names as PDU instead so that later we can map our smart PDUs to each ASIC.

8. Let’s add couple more. #
Now we have our last rack added on the site’s 1st row and 2nd column.

9. Rack Overview #
Now that we have all our racks added, we can also hover them to see some key information such as hashrate, temperature and issues.

10. IP Detect Wizard #
There are a few different methods to add your devices to the sitemap. Let’s take a look at adding your devices through IP Report Button through the IP Detect Wizard.

11. Enter the Rackspace #
Enter the total number of rows and columns in your rack.

12. Select Your Agent #
Use the dropdown to select the correct agent.

13. Proceed to the Next Step #
Click the ‘Next’ button to continue the configuration process.

14. Initiate Configuration #
Follow the instructions displayed on the panel. Also, please turn off the computer’s firewall on which the agent is running.

15. IP Wizard Map Interface #
In this final step, press the IP report button for each coordinate that is displayed on the wizard.

16. Add Device Button #
Let’s look at other methods of adding your devices to the rack. Let’s start by clicking on “Add Device”.

17. Select a Worker #
In this method, we can add a device by searching using IP, MAC Address or Serial number.

18. Define Location #
Next, we’ll need to define the coordinate of the miner on the rack space, by entering the Row and Column and we can hit submit to send the command.

19. Add Another Device #
Let’s add another devie that we’ve selected and let’s place this on by Row 2, Column 5.

20. Device Locations #
As you can see, the device is now entered in row 2, column 5. Another method to a device is by clicking on the empty slots and selecting a device to add in.

21. Select Device #
Select the miner to be located on Row 1, Column 2. Note that when you select a empty spot to fill, you are not able to adjust the coordinates.

22. Scan a Device #
Click on “Add Device” to look at another method of adding your devices to the site.

23. Scan a Device #
If this is a new device that has never been added to the platform before, you can scan the device and populate it to its respective location.

24. Scan Device #
In this step, we’ll need to populate the IP ranges and enter the username and password for the device.

25. Submit Button #
Click Submit to scan for the device.

26. IP Detection Tool #
Select this option to detect a device based on the IP Report.

27. Select an Agent #
Select the agent that the device is running on.

28. IP Detection Tool #
Now, the device can be detected by clicking the IP Report button on the device.

29. Lite Mode #
Now that you have entered all your devices, you can view your devices in both Lite Mode and Detailed Mode.

30. Sitemap View Modes #
In your sitemap, you can paint your site based on criteria such as PCB Temperature, Hashrate, Fan Speed, or whether the device is connected.

31. Temperature View #
In the Temperature view, you can see if your devices are running Hot or Cold at a glance. This is an overview of the sitemap feature. If you require any assistance setting up your sitemap, don’t hesitate to contact our support team.
